This was my master project at KHiB (Bergen National Academy of the Arts) The project was focused on type design and graffiti and my initial question was: “Is it possible to design a well functioning typeface based on graffiti?” The solution takes it's cue from two extremes in the graffiti community: “the Bomber” – a graffiti artist dedicated to quantity and risk taking, and on the other side “the Artist” – dedicated to style and to the essence of hip-hop. The project was awarded with a Gold medal in the Visuelt competition in 2007.
